Shawn Dickman

Founder, President and CEO

Mr. Shawn D. Dickman is the founder, President, and CEO of Compliant Solutions. He has been providing engineering and information system security services since his Air Force commissioning in 1998.

Prior to founding Compliant Solutions, Mr. Dickman held positions as a Program Manager, Systems Engineer and Test Manager for defense contracting companies including the Mission Research Corporation and Alliant Techsystems. Additionally, in the United States Air Force he has served as a Squadron Commander, Joint Staff Action Officer, Joint Planner, a Network Operations Lead, and an Aircraft Survivability Analyst.

Mr. Dickman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 1998 and he was awarded a Master of Science degree in Information Security from James Madison University in 2008.

Manuel’s background includes extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering, IT management, and network security, with key roles at Sandia National Laboratories, the U.S. Department of Defense, and private industry leaders. He has successfully led teams through complex cybersecurity initiatives, managed high-stakes projects, and developed strategic partnerships to strengthen security postures across industries. His expertise spans compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC, ensuring organizations meet the highest standards of protection.

Holding a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University and multiple industry certifications, Manuel remains committed to advancing security best practices, fostering leadership within the industry, and delivering innovative solutions that help organizations navigate today’s evolving digital landscape.
